Solar PanelsThe efficiency of solar panels increases when anti-reflection and light-trapping textures are applied. Relative panel efficiency increases from 5% up to as high as 10%.

We are proud to say, that these nano- and micro-imprint machines are state-of-the-art in high production volumes and large areas. By using flex stamps with multiple product images, many small screens can be imprinted on one large-area substrate at high speed.

Higher efficiencies in solar applications
Solar applications benefit from applying micro-structures on the photovoltaic solar panels. Nano- or microstructures can be used to reduce reflection of the glass and can even trap light which is reflected by the cells inside the modules. This way, the available light of the sun is used to a maximum.
Surface treatment of Solar panels
Years of research by several big companies and institutes have brought us a multiple range of microstructures for these purposes. Structured films or foils which are applied to the panels are less weather-resistant. Imprinting these textures directly on the panels by roll-to-plate imprinting will reduce costs and will provide you with a thinner and clearer solution which is more durable.
